5/5

Chronologically, this season is a prequel to Fargo Season 1, but it does not fall short of expectations at all. A masterpiece of television, Fargo S2 grips the viewer into an unnerving journey. The plot is intense, heavy and together with the acting, it makes for a captivating thriller. The way the story unfolds is just like and as beautiful as a flower blooming. The characters play off one another so well that the viewer will feel they can relate to them. There are many themes addressed throughout the series, such as racism, feminism and PTSD which hit close to home. Personally, I feel this sets Fargo miles apart from other crime shows. Hence, a must watch!
